Here are some things to try if you are having problems viewing the cams.
Having trouble loading the player?
If you are having trouble viewing the cameras and the Active X won't seem to install just go to
www.streamn.com/StreamingMediaPlayer.msiwww.foalcam.com/StreamingMediaPlayer.zipand download the player. Once you run it you should be all set. This will install the Active X program, too.
In Internet Explorer, choose Tools, Internet Options, Security, Custom Level. All the ActiveX ones should be Enable or Prompt. This usually works and will cause things to update if needed. You need to totally restart Internet Explorer for the changes to take effect, and your cams should work.
It is important that you get the latest Windows Media Player version. This is not something that you get throught the automatic update systems of Windows.
How to get the newest Windows Media Player version?
Click "Start" then "All Programs" then "Windows Update."
Download all the updates to the Windows Update software that may be required. Maybe you have to restart your computer.
Go back to Windows Update, and click "Custom" when that choice appears.
Select the "Software, Optional" category on the left side and select the Windows Media Player update, along with any subsequent updates that appear as a result of downloading it.
Now you should be able to view the Barncams!
