Roxy is doing great, progressing nicely. Here udder is getting pretty full. She is a little looser under her tail and still no wax or anything like that. I have added the link to the foaling contest and the alert button. Remember High alerts can only be triggered by agents of the owner and happen when the mare is for sure going to foal. Low alerts are triggered by users when they think she might be having it. It takes three seperate users to trigger it to make it send. If you want to be alerted please add your email to the list under the alert.

By the way they say Roxy is going to have a colt.

 Colt

Thanks,

Bill

Hello Bill,

thanks for the update of your appaloosa mare Roxy. Can't await to see her foal.

I watch her as often as I can and everytime when I see her sleeping on her big belly I have to smile, because she lies her head down like a dog. She's a beauty!

I wish you a safe and healthy foaling and I hope that I will not miss it.  Smiley

Here is the link to the cam: http://www.barncam.de/en/saddlebrook

Hi Bill, Smiley

I found the cam! Roxy is still outside, so I have not yet had the pleasure to see her, but I'll keep watching!  Cool

I'll keep my fingers crossed for a happy and healthy foaling for all of you at Saddlebrook's!

Two days ago happened the same to me ... at first I heard a few children laughing and screaming ... and suddenly a wonderful voice singing like an angel ... my daughter and I looked at each other ... what was that? question

A few minutes later a deeper voice: "Moses, come on!" and now I knew it could only be the sound of the Saddlebrook cam and Bill, who was calling his new wonderful dog named Moses.  ok

Then Roxy came into her stall and I saw Bill controlling her "milk bar" ...   dance

I like the clear view of Roxy's cam and the sound ... and the wonderful voice and singing of someone at Saddlebrook!  yes

Now I want to share with all of you my favourite snapshot of Roxy!

Whenever she is sleeping deep,  zzz she lays on her big belly and has had her head like a dog on the ground.

Horses can be so funny!  yes

Roxy was in when I came home today and her lights are on, so now I can really see her lovely colour on cam!  happydance She is eating her hay and looking really contented.  smile If she'll have her foal on her due date March 14th, we only have to wait for one more week to see her foal.  love

It seems to me that it is not Roxy on cam this evening. Maybe it is Checkers, the new Quarter Horse broodmare at Saddlebrook!?  question

Look at their barnblog:  http://www.barnblog.com/appaloosas

roflmbo You're right. i thought she looked different because of the totally different lighting that I had not seen before, but now Roxy is back and I can clearly see that she's a different horse from the one that was there before.
Only don't know which one it is.  smile

I've read news about Roxy on the Saddlebrook Appaloosa BarnBoard on their website. She is near her due date, definitely uncomfartable and has had a few practice contractions, but no or not lot of wax, because she knocks it off during the time she is laying.

Please watch her all closely this week!  smile

I suppose Ari doesn´t want to be first... tonight was horror... mad

Only important is a healthy birth!! First or not first doesn´t matter...  loveit

Today they have had some technical difficulties at Saddlebrook Appaloosas. I've contacted Bill and the farm. Bill is out of town and I've read on their message board that he is trying with Susan and Cindy T to get it fixed.  thankyou

Hang in there Roxy! We don't want to miss it!  roflmbo
