I finally was able to get some outside pictures of Spanky. They are not great, but at least I have some. I plan on taking some more over the next couple days. i added them to the gallery though you you can take a look and rank them.

Spanky is one of the best appaloosa foals I have ever seen, nice head, best confirmation, great movement and I believe she will be a winner in the showring. I cross my fingers for her.

I am really in love with her and I guess she will be a near leopard soon, because of her roaning genes, which she has gotten from Roxy.

I have had a filly born with the same markings and she’s now 3 years old and a near leopard with a lot of spots and a really big spot on her left side like a saddle. LOL

Spanky is still having a little problem with her right leg. I am not sure what is going on exactly. No swelling  or injury, but when she runs full out she tends to keep it off the ground. There is no heat or abscess or anything and she used to run just fine a week ago or so. I will have the vet check her out tomorrow when they are here.

The vet said that Spanky has nothing major wrong that she can find. She suggested stall rest for  a week or so just in case she has a bruise or something.
